Both doors of this practice book through the same place: IntakeQ. New patient intakes run a full 60 minutes, and follow-up visits run 30. There is no web form on this website, on purpose. Your health information belongs in a system built for medical privacy, not in a contact form.
One practice, two ways in: therapy and medication care at psych.us is the full practice, and medication management only at PsychMed Care is the dedicated prescribing door. Locations, insurance, fees and booking for both live on this site.
How booking works
Three steps, then a calendar.
Choose your door
Therapy and medication together, or medication management only. Not sure which door fits? Start with the full practice at psych.us; the choice can change later without a new intake.
Complete the intake forms
The intake form and consents live in IntakeQ and take about ten minutes. Send a photo of your insurance card with them, and we verify your coverage and copay before your first visit.
Pick your time
With forms in, the calendar opens. Practice hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 to 19:00 Central, and Saturday, 7:00 to 13:00 Central.

What happens next.
Verification, quietly handled
Once your forms and insurance card arrive, we run the eligibility check and confirm your exact copay. If a plan needs anything else from you, we tell you plainly and early, not the morning of your visit.
Your first visit
The intake is a 60-minute video visit with Karel Winner, DNP, PMHNP-BC. Find a private spot with a decent connection; everything else about the hour (your history, your goals, the first plan) is work the two of you do together on the call.
Staying in touch
Follow-ups run 30 minutes and are booked the same way, or through the patient portal once you are established. Between visits, portal and Spruce messages reach the practice during office hours.
