Insurance
Oscar, Oxford, Carelon, Providence and more.
Beyond the largest networks, Solutions Psychiatry is also in network with Oscar, Oxford, Carelon and Providence, plus a set of regional plans. And if your plan is named nowhere on this site, that is not the end of the conversation: we check out-of-network benefits for any plan, and we tell you what we find before you book.
One practice, two ways in: therapy and medication care at psych.us is the full practice, and medication management only at PsychMed Care is the dedicated prescribing door. Locations, insurance, fees and booking for both live on this site.
Verification
How the check works for this plan.
These networks work the same way as the big four on this site. Send a photo of your card with your intake forms and we confirm that coverage is active, that the practice is in network for your exact plan, whether a deductible applies, and what your copay will be for the intake and for follow-ups. The answer arrives before your first visit, and it covers both doors of the practice.
Smaller and regional plans reward the check more than most. Their networks are narrower and their plan designs change more often, so a directory listing from last year is a weak thing to rely on. A verification run against your current coverage is the answer worth having.
Costs
What you will pay.
Patients on these plans usually pay a copay between $0 and $40 per visit, like the rest of the practice. If a deductible applies first, verification says so, with the amounts, before you decide. Nothing about your cost is left to be discovered on a statement later.
For a plan the practice is not contracted with, the check looks at out-of-network benefits instead: whether your policy contributes to care here, and what your share would be. The published self-pay rates stand as the known alternative in every case.
The rest of the list
Four more networks, and the regional plans.
Oscar
A marketplace-era insurer with a strong telehealth footprint. Oscar members are verified against their specific plan and network before the first visit.
Oxford
Employer coverage common in the Northeast and elsewhere. Oxford plans are checked plan by plan, the same as every network on this page.
Carelon
A behavioral health network in its own right. If your coverage runs through Carelon, verification runs against it directly.
Providence
A regional plan with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, where this practice also welcomes Medicaid patients in Oregon.
Alongside these, the practice works with a set of regional plans whose names vary by state. Regional networks change contracts often, which is one more reason every plan goes through the same verification before a first visit is booked.
Questions
Asked about this plan.
My plan is not listed anywhere on this site. Can I still be seen?
In many cases, yes. We check out-of-network benefits for plans the practice is not contracted with, and many policies pay part of the cost of care outside their network. If yours does not, the published self-pay rates, $350 for the intake and $250 for follow-ups, are the fallback, and you will know which situation you are in before your first visit.
What are out-of-network benefits, in plain terms?
Some plans only pay for clinicians inside their network. Others also contribute toward care from a clinician outside it, usually a percentage of the cost after a deductible. Whether yours does, and how much it would contribute, is part of what we check when you send your card.
How do I ask about a specific plan?
Call (800) 303-3221, email [email protected], or simply send a photo of your card with your intake forms and let verification answer it. Either way, the answer comes back before you book the intake, with your expected cost attached.
Ready when you are.
New patient intakes run 60 minutes. Follow-ups run 30. Booking happens on IntakeQ, and every plan is verified before the first visit.
