Insurance
Psychiatry in network with Aetna.
Solutions Psychiatry is in network with Aetna for telehealth psychiatry in the 34 states and Washington DC where the practice delivers care. That sentence only matters once it is true for your specific plan, so we verify it: send your Aetna card with your intake forms, and we confirm your coverage and your exact copay before your first visit.
One practice, two ways in: therapy and medication care at psych.us is the full practice, and medication management only at PsychMed Care is the dedicated prescribing door. Locations, insurance, fees and booking for both live on this site.
Verification
How the check works for this plan.
Aetna sells a wide range of plan designs: employer plans, marketplace plans, student plans, and plans where the Aetna name sits on the card while a partner network handles the details. The check we run works from your member ID and your exact plan, not from the logo, so the answer you get is about your coverage and no one else's.
During verification we confirm that the coverage is active, that this practice is in network for your plan, whether a deductible applies to psychiatry visits, and what the copay will be for the intake and for follow-ups. The whole check happens before your first appointment is booked, and it happens once: the same answer covers both doors of the practice.
When the check is done, the numbers go on your chart and stay there. If your Aetna plan renews into a new design, or you change employers and land on a different Aetna plan, tell the practice and we run it again, so the copay you were quoted is always the copay that applies. The point of the system is that cost never becomes a reason a visit surprises you.
Costs
What you will pay.
Most Aetna patients here pay a copay between $0 and $40 per visit. If your plan applies visits to a deductible first, we tell you that during verification, along with what the visits will cost until the deductible is met. There is no version of this where you find out from a statement a month later.
Prefer not to use insurance at all? The self-pay rates are published on the fees page: $350 for the 60-minute intake and $250 for each 30-minute follow-up, the same at both doors.
Questions
Asked about this plan.
Does Aetna cover telehealth psychiatry here?
For most Aetna plans, yes, and this practice is in network with Aetna for video visits across the 34 states and Washington DC it serves. Coverage is a property of your specific plan rather than the Aetna name alone, which is why we run the eligibility check on your card before your first visit and give you the answer before you book the intake.
What will my Aetna copay be?
Most Aetna patients at this practice pay between $0 and $40 per visit. Your exact copay depends on your plan design, and some plans apply visits to a deductible first. All of that is checked during verification, and you hear your number before your first appointment, not after it.
What if my Aetna plan turns out to be out of network?
Then we tell you before your first visit, check whether your plan carries out-of-network benefits that can be used, and lay out the self-pay rates, $350 for the intake and $250 for follow-ups, so you can decide with real numbers in front of you. Nothing is booked until you say go.
